(And don't you just love that cover.) I can’t wait for you all to meet Jade, the heroine of the book, and although you can’t get the book until June 20^th, you can pre-order in now (for a very steep discount.) Pre-ordering is important, because good pre-order sales help the book become more visible to other readers on Amazon, and they also influence the publisher’s decision to go ahead with paper back and audio versions of the book. Tirgearr is a digital first publisher, which means that the book is only available as an eBook at this time. In other news, the next installment in the Marco Venetti series is still a few years away, as I have to write Jade Stryker #2 first. I am also writing a standalone book named THE ETERNITY GENE, which I describe as Blake Crouch meets Michael Crichton. If you are wondering when I am going to get the time to do all this writing as well as keep Dr. Lisa’s flower gardens weeded and the lawn cut, I am wondering the same thing myself. But don’t worry, I am not retiring, although I am cutting back on my clinical hours. As of mid-August, I will be seeing patients two days per week, on Wednesday and Friday, partly to give me more time to write (and golf or ski) and partly to make room for our very own Carleen Looney, who will be changing her role to Nurse Practitioner after three years of hard work to earn her advanced practice degree.
